Brilliantly fun wedding ideas.

We at Him and Her have decided to be brave and have now entered the exciting world of 'pinning' things. We've discovered that it's surprisingly fantastic and wanted to share a few things we found on there that made us smile.

Together we have created this list of fun wedding ideas...

1. Have a pre-wedding field day so your groomsmen and bridesmaids can get acquainted with one another.

2. Add a line for a DJ song request on your RSVP cards.

3. Enlist your grandmas to be your flower girls.

4. For seriously rad photo opportunities (which we love), give out sparklers as favours.

5. Incorporate your love story into the aisle runner.

6. Leave out advice cards near the guestbook or on the dinner tables.

7. Sometimes an array of bridesmaid dress colors can look prettier than just picking one.

8. Decorate the bathrooms with childhood photos.

9. Keep the program simple and to the point.

10. Put crayons at the kids table.

11. Forgo confetti for pom-poms.

12. Have a ball pit. We love them.

13. Have everyone dive face-first into a 10-foot-long banana split. It will cost less than a wedding cake, and there's a higher chance people will eat it.

14. Ditch the typical bouquet for one big-ass paper flower. It's less expensive and looks kind of vogueish we thought.

We’re Neil & Lisa and we LOVE weddings; the activity, the settings and the people who come together for a special day. As a couple we’re able to offer our own perspectives on the wedding, with a feel for the Bride and Grooms roles and to ensure that we’re always in the right place to catch the big moments (we don’t spoil your day by feeling ‘in the way’.)  For us, being a part of your special day, catching the emotions and happiness gives us both real satisfaction and we think this shines through in our images.

We hope you enjoy our site and can find the things you need to make a decision about your photographers for the wedding day. If there's something you don't see or do need to talk about please do get in contact either by telephone or by using our enquiry form (both) on the contact page. We're looking forward to hearing from you soon.
