Rivervale Barn - wedding 2nd July 2014

We mentioned being excited about shooting at Rivervale Barn in a previous blog here. Honestly, we'd have to say our expectations were more than fulfilled and the venue is absolutely beautiful. Not too far from London but set in the river basin and meadowland of the River Blackwater, it's a truly English setting, easy to get to but feeling very distant from the big smoke.

The barn is a contemporary green oak timber frame, but it really has to be seen and experienced to be believed, two huge public spaces joined by a light airy glassy atrium with gardens and a terrazzo styled terrace. We really can't say enough about the place, it rocks!

Go have a look at http://www.rivervale-barn-weddings.co.uk/ and tell your friends, but only the really good friends!

Before finishing, a special mention to Hayley, who managed the event at the barn, an utterly friendly and organised lady who really pulled off a tremendous event and her staff who were absolutely impeccable. We had a beautiful day, the bride and groom had a genuine 'day to remember' and honestly, we can't fault a thing. Thank you Hayley!

Anyway, a quick peek at one of our pictures for the day might be in order?

We’re Neil & Lisa and we LOVE weddings; the activity, the settings and the people who come together for a special day. As a couple we’re able to offer our own perspectives on the wedding, with a feel for the Bride and Grooms roles and to ensure that we’re always in the right place to catch the big moments (we don’t spoil your day by feeling ‘in the way’.)  For us, being a part of your special day, catching the emotions and happiness gives us both real satisfaction and we think this shines through in our images.

We hope you enjoy our site and can find the things you need to make a decision about your photographers for the wedding day. If there's something you don't see or do need to talk about please do get in contact either by telephone or by using our enquiry form (both) on the contact page. We're looking forward to hearing from you soon.
